High moisture resistant particle board contains a moisture resistant resin that allows it to be used in areas of high humidity such as kitchens and bathrooms. None of the other porpoerties are impacted by the added resin.

Working Properties

HMR particle board has a much slower response to wetting than standard types. It is manufactured with wood particles coated with a moisture resistant resin. Wax is also used in the resin which has water repellant properties.
